After completion and the re-release of ’SPRING, Remastered’, Pete plans on a trip to Nashville. Now having several new original songs in various stages of completion, this Nashville stay will serve a few different goals :
1) To complete Co Mixing and Production work of those songs which are ready, alongside Engineer/Mixer Zach Kasik. Zach is the owner operator of Wildfeather Recording in Nashville, and is very talented up and coming Mixer.
2) Tracking Drums on a few tunes with longtime friend and musical collaborator Bryan Keeling at Wildfeather. Pete and Bryan’s friendship dates back to ’85 at BERKLEE College of Music in Boston. Bryan is the drummer on both of Pete’ EPs, with the exception of track 5 on ‘SPRING’, ‘Let Me Go!’. Bryan is a recording and touring Drummer now based out of Nashville. Not coincidentally, Bryan is the one who got Pete in touch with both Zach Kasik and Kalen Chase.
3) Tracking Lead Vocals on 3 or 4 songs with Kalen Chase on the Mic (Vimic, KORN, etc)! This is for an original melodic hard rock project, completely seperate from Pete’s other original rock material but certainly warrants a mention here, nonetheless. Kalen is an amazing Lead Vocalist who was operatically trained starting at a young age, but is comfortable recording and performing in several different musical genres. Kalen also records and puts out his own great original rock material in partnership with his brother, and Mixed by Zach Kasik.
