Track four off Pete’s ‘Distance’ EP, ‘Powerless’, has been added to 97.7/106.1 WEXT the EXIT’s Local Playlist and has been getting played consistently since its release in August ’23! This means Pete Vroman is now in a pool of approved artists and bands from the 518 Area Code that can be played on the station. This development is even sweeter considering Pete has been a dedicated listener of New York’s Capital Region’s ‘Real Alternative, Roots and Rock’ station since ’14 – before he originally released his debut EP, ’SPRING’. It’s both an honor and encouraging to be played on the same station where Pete first heard such artists as: Ray LaMontagne, Brandi Carlile, Marcus King, Molly Tuttle, and Sturgill Simpson.
